MyDrugPrices is a free look-up tool. There is nothing to sign up for, and we do not want your personal information. This page describes exactly what happens when you use the site.

We do not ask you for anything

There are no accounts, no sign-up, no email capture and no forms anywhere on this site. We never ask for your name, your date of birth, your insurance, your prescriptions or any other health information — so we do not have any of it.

What stays on your own device

Nothing. The site stores nothing in your browser — no cookies, no local storage — and runs no advertising or analytics trackers. Until 4 September 2026 it remembered a ZIP code you typed, on your device only; that field is gone, and a visit now removes any ZIP it left behind.

What our server records

Like nearly every website, our host records a line in a log each time a page or file is requested. Each line contains:

• the IP address the request came from
• the page or file requested, and the date and time
• the page you arrived from, if any, and your browser type

We use these logs for one purpose: to understand how many people use the site and which pages are useful. The logs are deleted automatically after 90 days. They are stored in our own private storage. We do not sell, rent or share them, and we do not attempt to identify individual visitors from them.

Because each drug has its own page address, a log line for a drug page records which page was requested. We think anyone should know that before they use a site about medication, which is why it is stated plainly here.

Other companies your browser contacts

None. Everything this site needs — the page, the styles, the fonts and the price data — is served from our own domain. Your browser contacts no advertising network, no analytics company and no font service while you use it.

The only time you leave is if you choose to: clicking through to PostScript Pharmacy takes you to their site, where their own policies apply. A price link carries the drug name and supply length you were looking at, so their page can open on the same medication instead of making you type it again, and it arrives on an address that tells them the visit came from MyDrugPrices. Nothing in that link identifies you — it names the medication and the website you came from, and carries no identifier for the person clicking. Links to their home page or their waiting list carry nothing at all.

Where the prices come from

Everything shown here is public data or our own published price list: wholesale costs from the CMS National Average Drug Acquisition Cost file, government spending from CMS Medicaid and Medicare Part D, and PostScript Pharmacy’s own cash prices. None of it relates to any individual person, and none of it comes from a pharmacy’s patient records.

Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone. There is nothing here to collect.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
